Curriculum and Activities:
The curriculum is designed and delivered
using themes, which incorporates the wider
world of science and the environment. Every
child works within the Early Years
Foundation Stage footprint appropriate to
their individual stage of development.

Long term planning – provides an over view
of the areas/themes to be covered during the
Medium term planning – provides a mind map
of a particular area/ theme.
Short term planning – provides the details
of activities to be undertaken during the
coming months. The children have an active
input into the planning process and their
ideas and interests are reflected in all
areas of interest.
Each area of the Early Years Foundation
Stage Curriculum is evaluated and assessed
according to the child's development stage.
We maintain the necessary records, policies
and procedures that are required for
efficient and safe management of the
Nursery. Individual child's records are
shared with the parents/carers. We keep
developmental progress reports on the
children and these follow them during their
time at the Nursery. This information is
informative rather than competitive and the
parents/carers are invited to attend regular
meetings to discuss their child's progress.
