Are you open throughout the Year?

Yes we are open throughout the year but closed during Bank Holidays.

Can I come for a pre visit before my child joins the nursery?

We encourage parents to visit the Nursery prior to the child being left for the first time. This

allows us to talk to you and get more information about your child’s routine as well as allowing

you to see now quickly your child settles in.

If I want extra sessions what do I do?

As long as we are within our ratios we try and accommodate where possible.

Do you insist/ encourage good manners and behaviour?

At Learning Curve the children have to observe our “ Golden Rules”. This is all about good

behaviour at the table and how we should behave when playing with our friends.

Are you Ofsted Registered?

Yes and our registration number is EY251887

Are your staff Police checked?

All Learning Curve staff member are police checked through the CRB (Criminal Records

Bureau)

Are your staff qualified and experienced?

All staff at Learning Curve are fully experienced and appropriately qualified. We also have

trainees who are under supervision and studying for their further qualifications.

Are you part of a chain?

No Learning Curve is privately owned by Naida Malik & Alan Butler

If my child is tired do you allow for naptime?

Many of the younger children are still in need of a nap and we follow a routine where by after

lunch its nap and quiet time.

Do you dispense medication if necessary?

Yes, we have a procedure that we follow once you have authorised us to dispense the

medicine.

Is the Nursery safe & secure?

The children are always supervised. Most visitors attend by prior appointment. Access for

visitors is only through a controlled entry system. On registration specific information is

requested to who is allowed to pick up the child.

Are you a member of any childcare association?

Learning Curve is a member of the National Day Nursery Association.
