The 13th of May was the date for the Learning Curve
outing and this year we decided to go to Bristol Zoo.
The weather was not quite on its best behaviour but not
to be deterred by a few rain drops our intrepid
explorers set off to explore the jungle
When who should they come across but an old friend.
That’s right Hailey, you give him a come-on wink. Your
friends look a bit worried there—oh no! they have just
spotted Louise making off with their ice creams!
The Great
Outdoors
We use the nursery outdoor areas for all sorts of
activities and not just for running around. Really it is
just another room . Every Thursday Caroline comes to
tell the threes a story and for half an hour they are
totally engrossed. And you can tell a story anywhere, so
on a fine day why not use the nursery garden
But of course the play area is lovely when you a bit of
space for more energetic activities, such as tennis with
George on a Friday morning.
Sometimes children just need space to grow and blossom.
R & D - it’s
all in a day’s work for the Busy Bees
Here in Honey Street we take our work very seriously:
Things need to be taken apart and then re-assembled very
carefully
We have to check to make sure that everything makes the
noise it’s supposed to
Parts have to be tested under all conditions
And all food has to undergo a rigorous taste test
Sometime we have to test objects to destruction. What
was that Ffion? You weren’t actually supposed to have
exploded the blue paint pot?
I tell you, it’s a jolly long day here in the research
lab and sometimes it gets a bit tiring.
