Food, Glorious Food!

We provide daily a balanced, wholesome diet. Breakfast, mid-morning snack, lunch and afternoon tea - the emphasis is on providing a tasty, healthy diet.

Our chef prepares our food fresh daily and the children just love her tasty cooking. The menus are planned to provide a variety of food which is both nourishing and designed to provide the well-balanced diet that young children need.

We cater for the individual dietary needs of the children and pay particular attention to those children with food intolerances or allergies.

However we do ask that parents provide food and formula for weaning babies.

Cleanliness is next to goodness when it comes to food preparation and Learning Curve kitchen has been awarded the highest 5 star food hygiene rating from the Food Standards Agency.

Monday: Breakfast: Wheat biscuits; Lunch: Quorn mince spaghetti bolognaise and garlic bread, Date pudding. Tea: Sandwiches, carrot and cucumber sticks, Fruit platter. Snacks: Rice cakes, Fresh Fruit

Tuesday: Breakfast: Crumpets; Lunch: Pizza chicken, chips and sweetcorn, Rice pudding and jam sauce. Tea: Leek and potato soup with a roll, Sultana biscuit. Snacks: Breadsticks and dip, Fruit

Wednesday: Breakfast: Porridge; Lunch: Beef lasagna and broccoli; Fruit sponge and custard; Tea: Beans on toast; Fromage Frais. Snacks: Cheese and crackers, Fresh fruit

Thursday: Breakfast: Brown toast and spread. Lunch: Vegetable korma and rice, Home grown rhubarb and custard. Tea: Jacket potato and cheese, Fresh fruit salad. Snacks: Cucumber, carrot and pepper sticks with houmous, Fruit.
